Card box

I made this card box for my mom to give to one of her friends. I used Parisian Breeze Specialty (Textured, cover-weight card stock). The colors of the box are Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip. My design on the front of the box is from the set Friends 24-7. I did use the Scallop Edge punch on the lid of the box and chocolate chip ribbon. The card box holds about 5 cards (which I made, too, for mom to enclose!!)

Bella Blossoms

For this card I used two Stampin Up sets-Bella Blossoms and Birthday Whimsy. My colors are Kiwi Kiss and Pacific Point. I did use some glitter on the flower, but again my picture looks washed out. I used Eyelet border punch and Basic Black Grosgrain Ribbon. The gems are from Hobby Lobby.

Organic Grace

On this card I used the 2008 hostess set Organic Grace. My colors are Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, and Chocolate Chip ( All retired colors except for Chocolate Chip). My thank you image is from Bella Blossoms. I also used glitter, but my picture looks a little washed out, so it is kind of hard to see. The punch that I used is the Eyelet Border.

Mother’s Day and a Birthday

I finally got my Mother’s Day card and a birthday card done for my mom and my sister. My sister’s 7th birthday is on Mother’s Day. My colors for the Mother’s Day card are Pink Pirouette and Real Red. I used the stamp sets Friends 24-7 and Baroque Motifs. I used some glitter on my main image and two Real Red eyelets on the side. For the birthday card I used the colors Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, and Pacific Point. The two stamp sets that I used are Paris in the Spring and Wonderful Word. Have a great weekend.

Live Life like you mean it

Today I’m posting a very simple thank you card. My colors are Soft Sky (which is retired) and Chocolate Chip. The set that I used is a hostess set from the 2008 Fall-Winter Catalog (Live like you mean it). There is some glitter on the flower background, but it is a little hard to see it. The punch that I used is the Scallop Edge (from SU)

Passion Flower

For this anniversary card I used the colors Chocolate Chip ,Baja Breeze ,and Kiwi Kiss. I used Inspired by Nature set from SU. The die that I used on this card is Scallop Circle #2 (with my Big Shot). I have glitter on flowers ,but I don’t know how well you can see it. Also I used some gems that I got from a local craft store. I almost forgot that I had Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon on the card.

Rose Impressions

I like how this card turned out and it only took me about twenty minutes to construct. My base color is Pink Pirouette and my rose is Purely Pomegranate (2008 color). I was excited that I got to try out my new Textured Impressions Die from SU. On my rose I used one of the glitters from the Fine Cosmo set. I believe the glitter color was called Rose Pink. It matched so I used it. The words on the bottom of my card are from the Inspired by Nature (also from the 2008 catalog).

Ok I’m going to try this again. I’m going to make this quick. My colors for this card are Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip. I used the set Friends 24-7 from SU and Wonderful Words. I used my Big Shot with the Texturz Plates that SU recently came out with . I don’t know if you can see the texture very well on the picture . I finally got the paper-piercing kit and it is fun to play with. Thank you for your inspiration, Kurtis and Mrs. Amundson!

A couple of cards

Hello , I got my new Stampin Up supplies a couple of days ago and I was experimenting with them.. The first one is Upsy Daisy and the other one is a 2004 stamp set (I went to a Stampin Up sale of retired stamp sets) is called Summer by the Sea .. The colors that I used on this card are (For the first card) River Rock, Wild Wasabi and Chocolate Chip paper . For the second card I used Groovy Guava and Basic Black Paper. On both cards I used the new Scallop Edge punch.

Fall is here

Well, since fall is here now I thought that I would make a fall card .. The colors that I used for this card are More Mustard, Really Rust and Chocolate Chip paper and satin ribbon .. The stamp set that I used is from Lizzie Anne Designs and it is called Au Naturale . The words on the front of the card are from our local stamp store ,and the big brad is from Stampin Up .. Well , I think that is all . I need to get ready for bed (It is almost 9:00 p.m.)
